Biography

Grapeshot has been on the road since 2011, when they finally had a stable formation. Esteban (singer), Jose (guitar), Borja (bass), Marcos (drums) and Javi (guitar). They started with no premise, just a strong base that ranges from thrash metal, death, through the groove metal or stoner rock. Hence the name Grapeshot, which could well be defined as a collection of pieces of metal of different nature, which are thrown violently by a cannon. In March 2011 they recorded their first EP in Headroom Studios, composed of four songs, and the play in a lot of shows, especially in Madrid, leaving a very good feeling in the audience.
In 2013 they reach the national finals of the Wacken Metal Battle, and continue composing and performing tirelessly, proving to be a steamroller on stage. In September 2014 they released their first full-length album, "The Scene", a good example of variety of styles and rythms, always with a strong and aggressive base. Which leads them to act in Valencia, Galicia, Castilla la Mancha, Murcia, Castilla Leon, Catalunya... with bands like Turisas, Crisix, In Mute, Hummano, Blaze Out... always getting remarkable success. In 2016 Grapeshot backs to the final round of Wacken Open Air Metal Battle Spain and they came placed second. This year Grapeshot is recording his second LP in the prestigious Sadman Studios (Madrid) and will try to make it reach every corner of Europe. So begins the story of Grapeshot, but this is just the beginning ...
